All K-O students have an individual access account and an e-mail account on the school network. Those students taking online courses also have a third account on the K-O Online system.
Student account logon names are the same for all three accounts and are in the format; lastname.firstinitial.twodigitclassyear (i.e. smith.j.06). In the event of duplicates, we add the first initial of the middle name (i.e. smith.ja.06). Approximately 2-4 weeks before the beginning of each school year new student accounts are created and account passwords is set to your birthdate in mmddyyyy format (i.e. 10051990). In a few cases where we don't have a record of your birthday the password is set to 99999999. Try that number if your birthday doesn't work. Returning students' accounts are not reset so try to remember your passwords over the summer. (See one of the Librarians if you need any of your passwords reset.)
On the right side of this page are links to walk-throughs of how to logon to each of your accounts. The Network logon is a standard Windows XP logon, the e-mail logon (for on campus) uses the FirstClass client which is on all K-O public PCs and the K-O Online logon is done via a web page. Check them out before you try to logon!
